60 Sony CDRs for $19.99 at Best Buy

I apologize if this has already been posted. If it is, I couldn't find it.

Best Buy has 50-packs of Sony CDRs for $19.99 (normally $29.99). And when you buy one, you get a Sony 10-pack for free. The 50-pack is a spindle with no jewel cases, and the 10-pack have cases. That's 60 for $20. Not bad.

that's pretty good deal since Sony disc is made by Taiyo Yuden. a good quality CDR indeed.
btw, is the free 10pk same Sony brand?

edit: I was too excited about this good deal that I forgot I have 100pk from Compusa laying around.

be aware, those sony is from taiwan, is not made from taiyuden( from japan)

Yes, the 50-pack says "Made in Taiwan," but the 10-pack says Japan. What's the diff?

Rob, per my CD Identifier, the 10 pack is manufactured by Sony Corp
Cyanine type 1. Good quality.

Rob, the difference between low quality (Taiwan) and high quality (Japan)
blanks is expected shelf life and durability.
