Are net or string allowed?

quite a few years ago, i read the rules for whatever league was dominant at the time:

no interference with controls
no electrical weapons
no untethered projectiles
no chemical weapons of any kind (water, oil, acid, etc)
no fire or heat weapons

i interpret that as a tethered net would be legit
