he should have put some money aside in the event he was called up. It doesn't sound like he was very responsible with his money if you ask me. Sadly, I'm sure there are plenty of others like them.

But at the same time you're pleased w/ what he/she does for our country SuperTool 😕

I most certainly am. But I will not entertain complains about the pay, since the guy knew what it was before he signed up. Unless this guy is for some reason being paid less than his peers in similar positions, he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Noone said Army pay would be comparable to the private sector. The pay should be no more and no less than is necessary to maintain sufficient number of sufficiently qualified personnel in the military. With the swell of patriotism and unemployment in the private sector, there are sufficient numbers enlisting, that a substantial raise in pay is not necessary.

No matter what they pay him, I bet he still pays his electric bill, unlike some people.

True plus under the law military family can request and credit card companies/ any mortgage companies to lover the annual percentage to 6% for max of 2 years. This only applies to those that pay more then 6% on their cc, house mortgage etc.

we are one of those that haven?t put allot of money away even do we are not military family and know we should have put allot of money away especially when u make around $200,000 a year but when u have the money u tend to spend them rather then safe them. U would be surprised how many American people have 30, 40 thousand of dollars in debt.
