60 Hz bug - can't get settings to stick in Win 2k

Hi Folks,

I recently installed Win 2k and am having trouble with the 60 Hz bug. I installed the NV Refresh Tool, made the changes, hit Apply Settings, got the "registry successfully written to" message, and then rebooted. No matter how many times I do this, Windoze always pops back up at 60 hz (and I am using a CRT which I know is capable of higher rates). My V card is a GeForce 3 Ti 200.

I also tried the refresh rate override within the nVidia driver (41.09), but that didn't stick either.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Check in the monitor tab section of Nvidia display properties panel that you`ve the monitor refresh rate set to a higher rate then 60Hz,then apply NVRefreshTool, what I normally do is reboot after install of new drivers is check and set that to 85Hz for my monitor then run NVRefreshTool 2.1a and reboot again to apply the refresh fix for gaming.
