60 gig PS3 for 325

I went in a pawnshop by my house and they had a 60 gig, heck the 40 gig is 399. I am half tempted to go get it.
 
I wouldn't suggest it. I once bought a ps2 back in the day from the pawn shop. It was only 100$ with network adapter(this was wen the ps2 costs 299 and you had buy network adapter seperatley). It died in about 4 months, and you can't do anything about it cause pawnshop won't take responsibility. And since it was a pawn shop, chances are that it could had been stolen or something and your warranty by sony probably won't be backed w/o Reciept.
 
I say nuts to that! Go for it. Pawn shops get a list of stolen goods from the police, so if they are selling it must not be on that list or someone hasn't reported it. The warranty should be good for a year from when it was originally purchased.

Also ask if they have any sot of return policy, and take down the serial number and check warranty information yourself.
 
The $499 MGS bundle will only have ~90% PS2 BC, but it has the extra 20 GB of space (make it an MP3 jukebox?), MGS4 game, DS3 rumble controller, 1 year warranty, and possibly (no official confirmation) a 65nm Cell processor to run cooler and quieter.

All of that might or might not be worth $175 to you (or $75 if you can get the Sony/Chase Visa from SonyStyle.com with $100 credit). If the 60GB needs a repair I've read Sony charges $149.

Does anyone know if the Sony/Chase CC is one of the Visas that doubles warranties? If so you get a -2- year waarnty buying the MGS bundle with it.
 
just curious dave, i've also seen some people say there are $150 off sonystyle cards...do you know where i could get one?

I haven't seen it as $150 since early last year, it's been just $100 when I've looked for the last 10-12 months.
