I'm tinkering around with overclocking my new athlon64 3500+ and I've been having good results, currently at 10x250=2500Mhz, 1:1 mem ratio for dual ddr500, 1.55v vcore. I burned it in at these settings last night and it seems to have passed the test, my only concern is that under load my temps are now 59/60 or 55/56 if I leave the A/C on and pointed towards the front of the computer so it intakes cooler air. Is this too hot? Thermaltake Venus 12 (on high) and artic silver ceramique...

What is the case temp?

If the case is hot, then no cpu cooler can overcome that.

Also what MB are you using and do you have the newwest BIOS? There are a lot of boards that over rate the temp so the CPU is a good 10degrees cooler, but just being reported wrong.
