Just in case you need a longer one, you can get a 9.5 foot at the Geeks for a $1.20 not sure about the shipping though.

If you are buying anything else there make sure you look at the bottom of the page after adding an item to the cart. They have a few other items at a discount. On a certain item I bought, I got a cable for $ .99.

Edit/ I just saw 187's post. Probobly a better deal only if you are buying something else from them or buy several.

Nice find. But can this cable be used to connect a non-2.0 USB device to a USB 2.0 connector or a regular USB connector?

If you have a microcenter near you they usually put these on sale for $0.99 every few weeks. YMMV, good price though considering what Staples or Best Buy wants for a USB "printer" cable.

I'll never forget the day when I bought my Epson C40UX for $40 from
CompUSA. It did come with USB cable, so the guy was trying to
sell USB cable for 39.99.. I just started laughing :D :D :D

Usually if you look on the side of the box it will have the requirements for the printer. See if it says you need a cable or if it says one if included.
