Alright guys, I've been looking into getting some webspace for a website that myself and some friends were going to start.

...and then I came across this.

What do you guys think? Too good to be true?

If not, then damn, that's a good deal. Annual fee including a domain name is less than $100.

Unlimted meaning no AVI no MP3 no zip no zap...eventually you'll just be told to stop hosting stuff all together! So now you got a limit!

sorry just frustrated from the time my old host lied to me..

If this isn't good then can someone refer me to a good webhost that satisfies the following requirements?

- 500megs (unlimited is always prefered...)
- lots of transfer...hopefully unlimited.
- at least 10 POP accounts
- FTP access
- dedicated IP/domain registration

The following is prefered

- shopping cart
- autoresponders

I dunno...

Price range is about $300US a year...is this even possible?

Well, no AVIs and MP3s would be okay. It's not going to be a warez or porn site...or I would've said so.

I wouldn't pay that for porn...let alone provide porn for other people.

500MBs storage, "lots" of bandwidth for that site, and your own IP? Not going to happen. Prepare to spend far, far, far, far, far, far more.

I don't mean dedicated server...so take off my own IP. I do need my own domain name though so a place will help me register would be good.

...and by bandwidth, I meant transfer limit. Hopefully unlimited but a large amount will be good since it's only 500 megs. Shouldn't be that much of a problem.

I don't mean a dedicated OC3 by any means. My bad for bad wording. I'm still a bit jet-lagged.

Pair Networks has several levels of service starting at $6/mo for no frills. Some months they have a double pre-payment discount (16% off for a year instead of 8%).

just make absolutly sure you read their TOS. Go over everything in the agreement. To some companies "unlimited" data transfer may mean 20 gigs a month, where unlimited transfer only applies if most of your website does not consist of more than 60% graphics or files other than text/html files.
