It's because of the manner in which they post, I think. It's not really because of their views, but rather because of the way in which they express them. But I have to wonder, are people who hold anti-american views...or people who's antiwar views are considered extreme...just going to be booted off here (or run off by the patriots)? Because I can't think of a way that these people could express themselves that would be accepted here, without being pounced upon by the prowar people. How do you express anti-american views here and avoid being attacked for expressing them? If it's unacceptable to be anti-america that's cool, it's a private message board after all. But shouldn't that be announced somewhere so these people can avoid the hassle before getting the hook?
I'm reminded of the message board I briefly visited last year. Lakersground.net, I think it's called. Obviously it's all LA fans. If you post (and I did) anything remotely anti-LA, or pro-Sac, you were banned (and I was

And it doesn't anger me that people have these views. On the other hand, if being anti-america is reason enough to nullify someone's membership then those people's membership should be nullified. This thread was about the rescue/finding of American POWs and had nothing to do with injured Iraqi children. I don't know if he was banned/vacationed but his post deserved to be deleted. Now as to how someone can freely express their antiwar views without being banned/vacationed? I don't know - as I'm not one of them.

Im not anti war or anti US however I tried to show everyone both sides of the war, and the rational why a lot of Mid east countries might hate the US but no one would allow themselves to see both sides... or atleast very few did
I bet these rescued POWs (not to mention Pvt Lynch) could shed some light as to whether those other poor souls were actually executed or not.

Easy. There's plenty of threads discussing the validity of war or the validity of US actions. The only thing a member need do is visit one of these threads and post on topic. Coming to this thread, or any others, and purposely trolling is one sure way to get booted.
Well, one member called him a troll. Maybe you should ask that member why. The difference is if the mods perceive it as trolling as was obviously, and rightly, the case in this thread.
