6 port baybus and types of fans ..

I got a 6 port baybus (XOXIDE) given to me for free along with 2 cheap case fans.. only problem I see thus far is that the case fans don't have the small 3 pin connectors that baybus does.. well.. they SORTA do. They have a single yellow wire attached to a 3 pin connector and then a normal sized 4 pin power connector(male and female to put inbetween other devices) .. I'm not quite sure if these work with the baybus, much less how it would work.. maybe I just need to cut and splice? Any help would be appreciated.

Well I'd recommend not even bothering with the baybus.
I just 7v old case fans with that kind of adapter. This site shows you how to rewire the molex connector
The baybus only varies between 6.5V~9.5V, so it wouldn't go much quieter on the baybus.
If you want to use the baybus, you could splice the wires into a 3-pin adapter, or buy some adapters LINK
