I am looking for a good motherboard other than the P3V4X that can support a Pentium 3 700.
Is there a motherboard that meet these specifications?
Thanks

yes.

1. Sound Card ( unless the motherboard come with descent onboard audio )
2. NIC
3. 56k Modem
4. Controller Card
5. TV card
6. something else.

I wouldnt wait for the i815EP at all, there is ALREADY an i815E thats priced as cheap as the i815EP, the MSI 815E Pro, 6 PCIs, 4 DIMMs.

No sure why you'd prefer Via..myself I'd go for the excellent MSi i815E Pro, but if you want Via Apollo Pro 133A the MSi 694 Master (694 is the Via Pro133A north bridge) is Via with 4DIMM, 6PCI.

I think MSI canned the 694Master, it seems very logical, because they really shouldnt be wasting anytime on it. I saw the board months ago and there is still no sign of coming out.

Duckers:

MSI boards are excellent overclockers. I dont know about AOpen, they're famous for their quality and stability, they were never good at overclocking. Personally Im not thrilled at all with the AOpen board, but surprisingly, it got high praises from guys that cant live w/o overclocking, such as FiringSquad and HardOCP.

maybe they did can it..I saw it at www.msi.com.tw the other day, but I didn't look on their US site (i couldn't get at it).
oh well..use the i815E Pro...i815E is better in almost every way than Via Pro133A, the only issue is the RAM limit, but by the time you need more than half a gig of RAM you'll probably need a new mobo.
