6 Months Per Year to get over her?

1. Met cute little florist. Bliss for 5 months (0 FIGHTS).
2. 6 months me and the police found out she is "Bipolar" when she tried to run me over with her SUV. (It was parked on top of my front yard fence when the cops arrived). She snapped on me, i said nothing, but she was pissed about a fight with her sister from earlier.

3. She went to jail for a week, and I broke it off for 2 months.

4. Took her back after she begged allot. (MY BAD) She had 18 months of probation, and took it out on me all 18 months blaming me for it.

5. During probation we broke up for 8 months.

6. Wound up back together.

7. Takes job at Hooters.

8. Breaks up with me for her manager. (My old manager from a job when i was 18 now worked at hooters.)

9. We start seeing each other again. 2 days after he breaks up with her.

10. She (a total follower) moves in with 2 pretty trashy chicks, and adopts a "MORE AGGRESSIVE" party life. (Extra Drugs chasing d00ds around)

11. She is now what I?d like to call a Casino "Troll". Goes to the local clubs and just walks around pointlessly chasing a good time that she will never really find.

12. 3 years went by during all this crap.


It's been like 4 months. I know this chick is 100% Evil and i should have nothing to do with her, but I?m totally :brokenheart:. I fell in love with her pre SUV, and I think I?m still in love with that "IDEA". I thought she was an angel i was WRONG, but i still can't get over it. I was sure I was going to marry this girl. Anyways keep hearing 6 months for every year your together, to get over a deep relationship. I think I lost some sanity during all this, because I'm having allot of trouble with this crap.

force yourself to stop thinking about her, focus on family, friends, job, and hobbies. other than that....

its tough to get over someone like that...i had a similar thing happen (less intense as yours though) and it took me about 4 months to get over her.


as always, the best way to get over someone is to meet someone new

Shes just going through her crazy stage. A lot of females hit this states when they turn 18 or 19 and it lasts until 23-24. Most grow out of it, some don't.

I have a name for this. It's called "fallen angel syndrome." The name is derived partly from pure poetic value, partly from the title of the song I was listening to when it all made sense. I'm also dealing with a Sickness i got about a year after i met her. It made me loose 60 pounds/my money(JOB)/All my energy. She was about as unerstanding about me being sick as a rabid underfed pitbull.

Bro I've been through this sht. I dated a cute girl who cut herself named Patience. I normally don't give a fvck about girls but I thought I could make things work because she had a great personality.

Waste of time. Ended up dumping her for another girl without the baggage (who happened to be better looking as well).

The only real way to forget about this girl is to replace her. I'm not saying find the love of your life, just replace her with the best available girl in the next couple weeks. The worst thing you can do is let memories fester, because then you'll think "She wasn't that bad".

Its been 3 months, since we broke up... Right after a buddy of mine was murdered... I'm like stuck in a funk, and I've lost all my "game". I even started reading self help books about dating. LOL! My friends are all like, d00d you used to be such a pimp what happend.
