I'll be going to the Dodgers Home Opener on the 21st of April. I'm interested to see how this Dodger team will look like and how McCourt has destroyed Dodger Stadium.

just got back from vegas...it amused me the odds on some teams winning the WS

the american league the odds were as you would expect
Yankees had the lowest odds (least payback on a bet), followed by red sox and angels

but the national league the Cubs were ahead, at something like 5-2 that they would win the WS
and the Mets were 2nd at like 5-1 that they win it all...lol...this comes since so many mets and cubs fans bet that their team will win even if its obvious that they wont

this being said
Lets Go Mets!!!

I CANT WAIT!!! I swear.. the "New Mets" better not turn into the "Old Mets" during the season. I have zero faith in that bullpen..then again besides Looper and DeJean I have no clue who will be in the bullpen. Nothing but question marks there.

In fact.. today Felix Heredia came in with the bases loaded (versus the Cards) and promptly walked in 2 runs and gave up a grand slam to Scott Rolen. That man is a disaster...he better not make the team.

I have been very impressed with the infield during spring training. Wright is gonna be great, Reyes looks healthy, Matsui looks good at second, Doug Minky is great at first and Miguel Cairo is there for emergencies. Cliff Floyd and Mike Piazza are killing the ball and Beltran should be great as well.

Mets play the Reds on Monday (Pedro vs Paul Wilson I think) and the Mets better sweep those crappy Reds.

The Yanks/Sox game on Sunday should be tremendous...suck that the game will be blacked out on YES. Is that also the case for the replay on the next day?? I will only be able to see an hour of it (I work nightshift on sunday) and YES does the replay on monday morning. I hope thats not blacked out.

LET'S GO METS!!!

I just finished regular season in MVP baseball. Pedro won Cy Young with 2.3 ERA and 18 wins. Beltran won MVP with 49 home runs (the next was A-rod with 41), 130 RBIs, 130 runs and 41 stolen bases. But that's just a video game.

Btw, what's up with the announcers saying: New York "Football" Giants. Don't they realize there are no other Giants in New York anymore? There haven't been for quite some time now.
