I know about eGPU, but wouldn't get one.

1: eGPU is a lot more cumbersome to take with you, or just move to another room in your house.
2: eGPU box + GPU card is more expensive than just getting dGPU.
3: eGPU performance is worse than dGPU performance.

From my perspective, and eGPU box is worse in every way that matters, and I bet the vast majority will see it that way as well.

Yea, I agree. Even though you may not game on battery power, the ability to move a laptop easily from place to place is a big plus. Having an external gpu kind of spoils that.
