6.8Ghz and 1Tflop of Storage?

Welcome to the forums!

Try using the Advanced Search feature, it works much better than the regular Search box.

Also FYI, FLOP = FLoating point OPeration = measurement of speed not capacity.

No one makes memory chips with a high enough density to cram 1000GB in a laptop.

256MB of cache on a CPU? itd be like 7" long on the core.

6.2ghz on your 256MB of cache? Itd instantly burst into flame.

Edit: They claim 256GB per chip for density. What are we at now with SDRAM? 64MB?

Its only 4000x the density of anything commercially available.

If you go to extreme high end servers i think you can get 128MB per chip. So 2000x.

also are these the same pleople who had that very baddly done video of their supposed chip that could play back what was reflected into it? and those 100gb odd flash drives that looked like a LED glued to a 3.5mm audio jack?

i see they claim to be at CES2006 😛

hehheheh look a the bottom of the page..........optical processor = a 555timer with a contact lense!

heh

and they are quite obviously working in a hair salon here....notice hair dryers in the background here😛
