atot decide for me, should I go back to my bed and lay there hoping sleep eventually overtakes me or suck it up and start my day at 6:30 am?

I've been up since 6 am Tuesday morning and don't have to work today (and don't really have anything planned except cleaning my apartment and going grocery shopping in preparation for some company on Thursday/Friday)

Usually when I get up I'm up for the day, so I'd say get everything done you need to. Maybe it'll tire you out and then just take a nap later in the day if you feel you need it. No sense in laying there probably just staring at a wall hoping to fall back asleep.

Since this was posted 5 hours ago, it's kind of moot, (mute? :p ) but why would there be any question about it? Early morning is the best time of day...

I tried the benadryl but could not remember where i packed it :(

Finally fell asleep around 7 and slept until 1... Between staying up absurdly late and sleeping into the middle of the afternoon i practically feel young again :p

try writing down whatever you are thinking about on a piece of paper. For me, if I have some heavy thoughts preventing me from sleeping, writing them down stops me from thinking about them for some reason.
