DE:HR was one of my surprise favorites of 2011. I bought it on sale, not expecting to spend much time in it. Ended up getting hooked on the game's amazingly well-crafted universe and narrative, not to mention the gameplay itself, which was very engaging and had a lot of variety.

I think I dumped ~20 hours into it overall. $7.50 is a steal for such a quality game. (Interestingly enough, the DLC wasn't as appealing to me though.)

Deus Ex: HR is pretty amazing. It has got a decent plot to boot and pretty engaging side missions too. Even without any boss fights it was pretty awesome.

It looked interesting, but I had a hard time getting into the original Deus Ex which made me skeptical. That, and I have a gigantic backlog of other titles to play. That means I have a pretty high standard for games that actually make me want to dedicate dozens of hours to beat them.

DE:HR surpassed that standard with flying colors.

VERY nice. I already have the base (Paid $30 about 6 months ago :() and one of the expansions. I just have not had time to play.

You say no boss fights, but there was at least one (that big tough mech guy that took me hiding in a corner where he could not pathfind to beat him).

Awesome layout, a bit confusing skillsets.

Oh. :) Well I mean, I bought The Missing Link because obviously I enjoyed the vanilla game so much. I ended up not liking the story and setting of the DLC so much. But it's still decent.

There was more than 1 boss fight. I just want to remove that part from my memory.

I went ahead and bit on HR & the dlc. I figured it wouldn't be any cheaper during the summer sale and it saves me from waiting. BTW you can get the Tactical Enhancement + Explosive Mission Bundle and save 23 whole cents over adding them separately.

I thought "The Missing Link" DLC was pretty good. I actually finished it and got 5-6 hours out of it.

X2 on your comments both on the game and DLC.

DE:HR was an amazing and easy to get into game. Definitely worth purchasing.
