I recently flashed to the newest bios for the Epox 8kda3+/8kda3j MB. I am still educating myself of the Nforce3 motherboard and I'm somewhat familiar with hyper transport in that I know that 5x means a frequency of 1000, which is standard in socket 939.
My question is, what kind of performance advantages would I see if enabled and what kind of system instability would I be opening myself up to if enabled. I have a clawhammer 3200+ currently with this board and 2 sticks of double sided Kingston 3200 value ram. I have only pushed the fsb up to 210 so far as I only have stock cooling for the processor.
Thanks for responses.....

Surely there is a Epox guru out there that can tell me about this added setting? Or do I need to go home, enable it, and then hose my system?

performance difference would be small and it would limit your overclocking options, as you would hit a wall with ht before your processor as on most boards it cant go much over 1000, so starting at 1000 wont give you much room.
