5v 1-2sec. Delay Relay?

edro

I see a tons of 24v+ delay relays, and they are all like $50-300! :Q

I need a 5v 1-2 second delay relay, something like 2A or so. I cannot find them in Digikey or Allied.

Does anyone make them? I figured they would be common, but I guess not.

you could use a 555 timer in monostable mode with a variable resistor and set it to any time delay you want.

Crydom makes some solid state ones that can be controlled with 5V but requires the load to be 48-280VAC. $46 for the 10A one though. If you're budget oriented, go to a timed and buffered manual setup.
