#1 was probably just bad luck then. #2-5 are all refurbished since all RMA cards from basicalyl every company is a Refurbished card.

You could try a 6600gt.

Remember I have AiW (Tv Tuner A/V in and Out)

6600GT and a haupauge PVR150 then. At least if one goes out you aren't screwed. I hated the AIW family for making it impossible to upgrade my video card without losing the tuner... the AGP 2.0 spec included dual AGP ports, why didn't anyone ever do it?

Besides, ATI's MMC is crap. Try intsalling something like Micrsoft MCE and and find out how true it is.

Maybe, if you want Vista in a year or two after SP1. And MCE is steal compared to Pro. Whatever :) I would rather having a working computer, than one missing a video card for the last few weeks. That's me though!

www.pcalchemy.com <--- If you change your mind ;) I would get the 6600/7600/x850/whatever somwhere else though.

Then get another 9800 Pro? If not, get an X800XT AIW or an X1300Pro (2006 Edition) AIW. The X1300Pro would be a downgrade, but at least you have something.
Could you possibly get a seperate Ati card and a Ati tv tuner? That might work

X1300pro is about 2/3 as fast as a 9800pro. X800xt is almost 2x as fast as a 9800pro

If you want, or especially if you *need* the All-In-Wonder features, then there is only one good choice right now and it'd be ATi's Radeon X1900 AIW.
