I have one bigadv that just *might* squeeze in before the deadline. My GPU folding rigged crashed yesterday morning and wasn't able to pop into work until now. Lost an entire day of folding worth 22000 PPD. Sorry Yetis!

I lost a few thousand points yesterday with sporatic internet connection.
I thought it was just the storm clouds, until I realised that the four+ inches of wet snow froze and formed a crust on the dish.

So there I was at 10:30 pm up on a ladder with a small space heater in the blowing blizzard trying to thaw the crusty snow off the sending unit so I could send in the -bigadv WU

My SMP client went down last night for some unknown reason. WU is at 47% right now. Not sure it will make it. It's not a lot of points (some 4,000), but for me it's the difference between double digit ppd's or not.

Stats as of December 31, 18:09 UTC:

FAH-Race-dec31aa.jpg

I am flabbergasted!
The race is so close! Only 85 400 points in difference! Less than 0,25% between the teams! <Petrus shakes his head ... >
Some lost some WUs because of technical problems, others because of weather, but there is a lot of fighting and crunching going on ...
Please go on crunching!
It is less than 24 hours until the final stats. So send in the WUs before the deadline ...

Have a really nice celebration of New Year's Eve.
May the New Year 2011 (MMXI) bring you all love, health, happyness, success and prosperity.

Have a good new year all.
Sweden V. Canada in the U20 ice hockey world championships in 2 hours. Need the US to perform better than Sweden so I get a free night of drinks next month when I meet a colleague in SF at the SPIE Photonics conference next month.

:( I was reading and it appears my first bigadv wu is a large one (started 2 days ago) and I won't make the cutoff. Well, at least I finally got my i7 870 stable although I will tweak it further and see if it can go higher than 3.72ghz.

Did your wife catch it on video?
An elderly aquaintance fell from a ladder two months ago and is still recuperating.
So she sent my eldest son out to assist (like I'm an old man and not capable).

After I thought I was done, he comes along and tells me that I cleaned the TV dish

ROTFLMAO....................

Peter.......... I think you should revise the label for the 30th stats to read "stats not done, (whisky break)".

Well, my -bigadv got done and is posted and I have restarted the GPU's for the last few hours of the race. Thanks GLeeM......... turning them off for a while helped.
Over the long haul it wouldn't make a difference, but with a time certain, all or nothing, deadline........... the strategy paid off.

BTW: the next -bigadv WU turned out to be a 2684. The slowest of the -bigadv's................

Let's all go out for a drink after the race.................... at Peter's house. :)

In the past 24 hours: 1 808 303 points! Second highest daily production ever!
It is very visible that the teams are crunching! :)

2 hours and 48 minutes until the end of the race! ;)

One more interesting point:

Zipspeed: __________ 5 303 885 points
TAS-petrusbroder: __ 5 303 884 points

Close?
