Thanks for the stats Peter.

These swings with the -bigadv work units sure make it hard to tell what's going on for sure .............. :\

Agreed! It seems the race is now a close one.

Thanks for the stats, Peter! :)

Well raced, TeAm! The race is very close; less than 1% is the difference between the teams, or approximately half a day's of production. Hmmm, that is not very much ...

Crunch more, please! :D

FAH-Race-dec27aa.jpg

This is really an even race: more than 28 million points produced, just about 112 000 points in difference between the teams = 0.39%. <Petrusbroder shakes his head.>
In this race we had very few recruiting, most of the increase in PPD (which is more than 560K) is probably due to hardware upgrades ... and new computers added.

Only 4 more days. The final stats will be done January 1, approx 18:30 UTC. All depending if I get home from the on-call-duty in the hospital. :\
The data will be collected at 18:07 - 18:10 no matter what ... ():)

Thanks for the Stats, Peter! It is certainly a close race.

My 1090T has been running at 3.95 GHz for 36 h.

CPU multiplier = 18x
CPU freq (FSB) 200 --> 220

Increasing the FSB in my bios automatically increases the NB-freq and HT link freq from 2000 --> 2200

I had to bump up the CPU voltage to 1.425 V. All other voltages are default (auto).

Nice OC. I am considering to get myself a 1090T-system (with two nice GPUs) just for folding. We will see if I can afford it ... ;)

Thanks for the stats, Peter :)

This is a very close race!
It could easily depend on someones -bigadv WU getting in on time or a few hours late.
I should finish the current -bigadv tomorrow morning which should give enough time to finish another ... I hope!

Happy birthday!!!!

so how is the youth around here competing:

Peter Trend 22 years old PPD 27/12/10: 18144
Tom Philippart 21 years old PPD 27/12/10: 18166

Interesting, there must be a correlation between age and ppd ;)

LoL! Should i make some stats out of that?
It probably would show a correlation between age, money and PPD. :)

My ppd took a horrible hit the past few days. Installed windows 7 on my main rig, and did that ever turn into a fiasco. Finally have it up and running and just installed the gpu3 client again.

An other good day of folding. The race approaches 30 million points crunched. This day was won by the Snowmen. Congrats! :awe:

The difference increased only by 120K - 2 -bigadv workunits. The total difference is less than 4 -bigadv WUs ...

All this is so good for the science! :D
This is good for the TeAm!

Keep the good work up!

Edit: corrected the stats-sheet.

PB, as much as I would like to take credit for 114367 points, I'm fairly certain that my X3 did not morph into an OC-ed i7. But thanks for the optimism. :p

I'm guessing 14367 is more like it. :)

Thanks for the correction - which has been incorporated in the stats-sheet. It was a split-second too long hit on the "1"-key on the keyboard ... ;) :$

I just got two Q9300 CPUs, for my E2140 rigs. I was going to upgrade them, put in Antec EarthWatts 650W PSUs, and pull my two GTX460 1GB cards out of my Q6600@3.6/2nd F@H rig, and put them into the new quad-core rigs.

I was planning on waiting until after the F@H race to upgrade them. But I'm wondering if I should do it before the F@H race is over.

Would the drop in PPD by shutting off my current rig, be made up by more PPD by the two (non-overclocked) quad-cores? I'm thinking it wouldn't, therefore I should wait until the end of the race to upgrade.

I would leave your Q6600 w/ the 2 GTX460s running until the end of the race. I would upgrade the 2 E2140s and get smp WUs going on those ASAP.

You're call, though. Remember, I'm a snowman! ;)
