5BNC is it worth getting such a cable?

I own the Philips brilliance 109P20, a 19 inch flat, etc, etc.
It has the normal D-sub connection on the back + BNC connection. Now, is it worth getting such a cable? Is the difference visible enough to justify considering I am no professional, mainly gaming reasons?

Ive read some threads, but they are quite expensive here in sweden, were talking 30-90 USD and phoa, I'm a student...
 
I use the BNC cable on my rig, but mainly to use the VGA connector for rigs I'm working on, IQ seems ~
