Just go until you nitce video artifacts or you get errors and stuff. Usually coolbits wont let you go very high. WHat 5900XT is it btw?

You should be able to OC it decently. I have my MSI (awesome Video Card) up at 450 core and 800 (400mhz DDR) memory and it runs extremely quiet and cool. You should be able to make the core go to 450 and the memory to 375 (750 DDR) and still be fine. Just go up slowly, and benchmark or game after about every 25mhz or whenever you feel like it.

Edit: 300 Core... i would double check that wiht coolbits. The stock for a 5900XT is 390 core and 700memory.

edit, do i have to keep some type of ratio?? or can i just up both at the same time? i ask that because of the nvidia throttling thing it has.

edit, do i have to reboot each time i up the mhz?

1) Nope, just get them as high as they'll go stably.
2) No.
