5900NU & FFXI wierdness

Thanks for your help on my previous post. After debating between the 5700U and 5900NU, I purchased the 5900NU. My first one was defective, but this new one seems fine, except for in FFXI. It is looking like shadowing details. Around 12:00 game time, til about 16:00 The environment textures are solid greyexcept for those in teh distance. Its like really bad tunnel vision. This also occurs in Caves and tunnels, or stairways the worst at all times of the day. My guess is shadowing. As this is a new game for me and I gonna be paying monthly for it I want it to work. While it maynot be teh best graphics game out, it is my first reason for upgradign vid card and comp.

Thanks for any help. I know this may sound bad, but I can still return my video card for something different.
