Ok, got my PNY FX5900NU in. Here's the results:
Overall, very nice board. Unfortunately, it doesn't include PNY's newer style of heatsink (the gold one), but the cooling still seems adequate. Fan is a bit on the small side though, and somewhat noisy.
I am also getting the small noise when scrolling... no biggie, but kind of a bummer.
Overclocking results have been pretty good. It will auto-detect to 455/960, which is decent. Obviously auto detect is pretty conservative though, so I expect to get at least another 10mhz out of both the core and memory. I'll keep you posted once I've had time to play with it.
What program did you use to OC?. I just got done ordering mine tonight along with the ASUS A7N8X @ newegg. Im not to worried about the noice os the fan.
Also is the small noise annoying like is it something you will always notice? Or just when your paying attention?

Lol, what is it nowadays with people expecting to be able to get a more expensive part by overclocking a cheaper one?

Holy mackerel. Futurepowerpc.com raised the price of the PNY 5900 to 239 from 195 in less than a week!!! Too bad. Now i guess i have to go with newegg's eVGA.

for all you people who are still interested in the xfx 5900nu with the 850 mhz mem, you can still get it but you won't find it for that awesome buy you were acustomed to for the past few months. It now sells for 289. The 700mhz one now sells at the price the 850mhz use to be at, 196.
hope this clears it all up.
