I tried to do a search for this and really didn't come to any conclusive answers.. All I would like to know is exactly what is the diff between these three? Am I correct in assuming that the SE and XT are the same? Thanx in advance.

5900: 400/850 core/memory (effective DDR speed).
5900XT/SE: 390/700 according to most reviews I've read, though most seem to be at 400/700.

The difference is mainly memory speed (and, accordingly, power draw and cost).

the best version in 5900's is the Golden Sample by Gainward (highly OCed version). i don't remember the exact specs but yes it is the best one.

My AOpen FX5900 isn't bad... 490/940 perfectly stable... with games that don't require more than 128 MB of video memory, it's about as fast as a FX5950 Ultra.

Thanx guys... That clears up a lot. I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't any severly crippled version that I didn't know about. I.E. Radeon 9800SE.

I'm running the eVGA 5900se (xt) and It seems like a decent card. Upgraded from a Geforce2 MX so just about anything would have been better. No driver problems as far as I can tell and the price was great form tigerdirect. Most games running at 1280x1024 with 4xaa no problems.

The only real differences of concern are core/memory clock speeds.

5900 Ultra - 450/850 (2.2ns)/256mb
5950 Ultra - 475/950 (2.2ns)/256mb
