When in 2d mode, should both cards clock down, or only one? Using MSI afterburner, I find I have only one card down clocking to 2d mode, while the other stays at an 850mhz on the core. Is this a driver bug with 10.6 drivers? The first card will clock down to 157mhz.

Could be an MSI bug too. I would go into CCC where you can control each card. See if you can get CCC to regulate both cards, if not, then it might be a driver thing. You can also look in GPUz for a 3rd monitoring method. You should be able to choose which GPU you want to monitor. Good luck!

This is a display bug AFAIK. When I was running crossfire, the 2nd card would never seem to clock down. An easy way to determine is to check their temps. If the 2nd card's temp is within a hair of the first, then it is clocked down.

One card stays about 10-15C hotter than the other. After unlocking overdrive, it showed the second card at 000, 0000. When I downloaded gpuz, and ran it it read 850 until I switched cards. That made the fans kick up, and CCC showed a 157 on the second card instead of 0. I do believe there may be an MSI bug, and GPUZ bug that shows a core at full speed when the card is switched off. That would be why the temp on that card is only 23C and the card at 157 is at 33C.

Thanks for the help.
