5850 There and Gone...I Caved

Got an email from NewEgg saying they had 5850's in-stock. 5 minutes later when I made it to the site it was gone

So then I caved and bought a 5870 that they actually had in stock...oh well, what's $100?

Please make me feel less guilty by telling me it wasn't a total mistake.

The 5870 is currently THE fastest DX11 video card available so it wasn't a mistake unless you play games at 1024x768 lol

dude there's nothing wrong with buying a card that will let you play games faster.

Look at it this way. The money you spent on the card would've probably been spent on booze, food and/or hookers instead. The first two would get you fat and the last one is just an unhealthy habit

I'm really happy with mine. The 5850, while a decent price, wasn't really a justifiable upgrade for me. The 5870 comes close to a GTX 295 or 4870 X2 with a single gpu, what's not to like?

LOL... I had a 5870 in my cart and just couldn't do it. If I get the chance again I might because I can't find a 5850 anywhere and when I do try to add one to my cart I can't complete the checkout process...
