5820k bottle necking 2x 970?

Will a 5820k bottleneck 2x 970 running in sli? If i recall 5820 have 1x16 and 1x8 and 1x4 lanes. 970 run at full speed at x16. Therefore if I were to run the sli it will be 16/8 right?

For such setup should I be buying the 5930k instead? or 16/16 and 16/8's performance is simply not visible for human's eye.

No. The 5820 would actually be fine for a x8/x8/x8 setup as well. Gen 3 x8 = gen2 x16. If you want quad SLI, then you will want/need a 5930k or higher.
