Well I noticed my temps were getting alot hotter so I just figuered Id take it apart add a new coat of tp. When I took the card out I looked at the bottom and its brown like it burned out and it runs half way down the card and then all of a sudden a strong smell starts to emerge from the card. Cat urine yes cat urine..I said (#&%$#&#) $&#&##%%%$##) &##) #&@. For now the card still works I'm just glad nvidia couldn't keep up with the demand because I'd be out a gtx 680 right now.

They make metal and plastic cases for computer components. You can find a good but cheap one for well under $100 these days. If you did have a case, maybe put some deterrent on top or else in a place where nothing can crawl on top of the case.

I've heard of people putting mouse traps on top of places a cat should not be, then covering with newspaper. Serves to make tons of noise and scare the cat without hurting them.

Well I think its official the card has now been pooped on. As soon as i start the rig the gpu fan spins at 100 percent beeps a few seconds later then..... nothing.
