5770 and WinSAT.exe

WinSAT.exe seems to run at random times on my computer, and when it does it takes about 60% of my CPU and causes Aero to stop running(i.e. no longer see translucent bars).
It just runs for like a minute or two, but it is kind of annoying. This i on Windows 7 64bit.

Anyone know what it's doing, and possibly how to disable it?
For those who have their 5xxx cards crash every now and then randomly based on what it does to me I think this maybe a possible culprit as well.

winsat.exe its the Windows Performance index tool, any sort of overclock on your computer can make winsat to load.

You can disable it using the Group Policy editor or just disable it from running on the Task Scheduler, this last way its more easy.

Thanks for the help. I never noticed it with my 4850 in Vista so I thought it might be why 5xxx cards are crashing randomly for some people.
