Hello I am trying to build a new system as soon as possible. I've mostly decided upon the other parts, namely the 2500k processor.
My question is which card (570 GTX, 6970 or an unlocked 6950) would pair best with the 2500k in the most cost effective manner. mfenn was kind enough to provide me with a link to a $280 Galaxy 570 (is this a reliable brand?). The cheapest 6970 I can find at the moment is a $310 powercolor. Finally I found a HIS 6950 for $215. All these prices are not including shipping and were found on newegg.
One question I have as well is how involved the process is for flashing or unlocking a 6950. I have never done anything of the sort so I'm not sure if it's a good idea for me to go for something like that. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer.
