56K Boca USB external modem $14.99 after MIR

Is USB modem better than external serial port ones? I have a Viking Component 56K External sitting in the closet, because it has no WInMe or Win2000 support - and they don't even plan to.

Depends on how much you are offering, it's brand new (Only tried to make it work under Windows 2000, failed and gave up), and i paid $45 for it (street price is $99 - compusa may have it).

Viking has great customer support. Call/Email them and ask for Win2k drivers. They will offer free exchange! They're the best.
