5670 issue when plugging in HDMI cable

I just put together a new build using a new Sapphire 5670, w/DVI, HDMI & Display Port. I've also installed the latest Catalyst Suite. Running just the DVI to my 22" monitor works fine. But when I also plug in the HDMI cable to send video to my plasma tv, it shrinks the image of my desktop on my monitor, to about 50%, (with black borders all around the outside). There is also no icons or taskbar, & no cursor. Mouse & keyboard movement does nothing. My only cure is to unplug the HDMI & reboot. :\

Any ideas on how to resolve this? Never had this issue with my 4670. Does it sound like a bad HDMI port on the card?
