Hey,
So after installing some newer drivers 56.xx (can't remember which to be exact but someone else had a similar problem with the 56.55 drivers) the image in Direct3D games was messed up (discolored, flickering triangles and other shapes showed up all over the screen). The other problem is that the game would pause for ~10-20 seconds before continuing to play, making the game unplayable.
Reverting back to older drivers doesn't fix the problem for me (even after entering safe mode and using a driver cleaner to remove all aspects of the old driver) and neither does installing newer or beta drivers.
I just read today that a clean install of windows didn't even fix this problem for someone, which concerns me a great deal. Another user suggested perhaps the increase in temperature from the 56.xx drivers caused some heat damage on the board?
Here's a similar thread on Guru3d.com in which the problem is described in greater detail:

It seems to be a problem affecting only Ti4600 boards from the people I've talked to so far.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
