Bah! No water's going anywhere near my machines. What would it cost for that card with that custom water cooler anyway? Very nice looking, but not for me. I'll take my air cooled Radeon anyday over that mess.

Interesting, so that's the Gainward cooling solution that's been rumored to exist. I want to see from benches from that bad boy.

GeForce FX 5800 Ultra (or should I say something more like the GeForce FX 6000 Ultra Golden Sample ;)) has officially become a contender in the enthusiast crowd in my books. Although there is now still the cost to consider and then to be fair you'd have to match it up against a water cooled Radeon 9700/9800 to be fair... ATI probably still wins... oh well. Good fight nVidia.

It looks nice, but since they're selling the thing I'd hardly expect anything but stellar reviews. I'll wait for other reviews to come in.

Ah nevermind, I just saw the price in the other article. $600. Blow me- literally.

To be fair, $600 is what an SLI V2 12MB cost. Some people will pay it for top of the line performance.

Yeah, but with SLI you got another card, almost twice the performance and other features. Here you get better cooling, and maybe a 10%+ bump in performance (if you believe what they're telling you).

Sure, some folks will be willing to shell out the $- but I'm long past paying over $300 for a videocard anyways.

Reports from CeBit seem to indicate that these self-contained water cooling kits will soon be pushed into the mainstream enthusiast market. Many will sit in stand-alone boxes outside of your case, and others will mount self-contained in a 5 1/4'' slot. Pretty crazy stuff.

I think this card is shipping with a bunch of other stuff like Firewire and Sound, but I'd pass for a 9700/9800 or wait for more news on NV35.

Sucks? Far from it I'm sure. Easily the fastest 1024x768 card on the market ;) Kidding aside should water cooling be easily available to all computers and the cost be under $400, we'd finally have a reasonable contender to the 9700/9800
