make sure its not all in your head by taking a reading at load, disconnecting the fans, then another reading, reconnect, annother reading...

- put your hand either side
- on one side of the fan, there are usually two arrows. one shows the direction the fan blades move, the other shows direction of air current.

fwiw, general consenus is that front fans should be intake, rear fans should be exhaust. side fans are usually intake, top-mounted blow holes usually exhaust.

to check temperatures try going into BIOS and looking there. this is usually the best place to look if you find a program's temp readings a little suspect. for inside windows, i prefer Speedfan, tho many like MBM5.

Drink some  and relax

I went through the same nightmare with Jet 7 cooler

If the system is stable you have nothing to worry about

50+C and it?s just keeps on going 24/7, no worries

I ran my Barton at 54c load with a 80mm 37cfm alpapal screwed into the mobo. During winter it ran around 50c load. It's likely a diode reading of the CPU, which is more sensible then most of these socket temps we see posted on the forum.

I figured the annoyance was that he added fans and temp went up, instead of down - rather than the actual temp's being too high (which theyre certainly not, but I think the responses have assumed that is the problem being posted about)
