I have a strong desire to buy a TV and don't know much.

The TV will go in a room with alot of windows and reflections from the windows on my current 42" plasma can be very annoying. I think I saw in these forums that some TVs have an anti-glare or antireflective like coating on them. I would like that. This is mostly an issue in the morning and mid day the way the room is oriented and how sunlight comes into the windows.

I want to get a 55-65" TV. I sit litterally about 20' away from the TV so I want to go as big as possible.

My budget is $1600 max. I almost would like to know what brands/models I should consider because they probably have multiple sizes in the price range that I want. Also, the only size constraint I have is where the TV is located. There is only so much height for this to fit in place.

The one thing I do know is that I do not want a plasma.

I do not want 3d.

Uses: In part, I want this to watch sports. Other than that it is alot of Netflix Streaming. And on occasion I will play video games but that is the last consideration.

How about this monster?

Almost bought a 60" Sharp Aquos today at Best Buy. I think it was $700. Still debating grabbing it. That was for a plain TV. The same thing that is a smart TV is $1000 .... maybe $900. Thing is, I really want the 70"er for $1600. Mostly pissed that there is not a 70" model that is not a smart TV. Atleast not one in store.

EDIT: Oh, well hello ....
