5400 rpm vs. 7200 rpm

HI
Is there a real power drain difference when using a 7200 rpm drive as compared to a 5400 rpm drive?
I did a quick check on the specs of two WD drives. One a 7200 and the second a 5400 rpm drive.
Current drain on both was the same for read, write, etc. Only difference was the current drain when in the sleep mode and the 7200 was 10 mils higher.
I read a coment on Newegg what the poster said the battery life was 40% less using a 7200 rpm drive.
Thanks

battery life wont be 40% less because of a 7200rpm HDD compared to the same system with a 5400rpm HDD. HDDs simply arent the power hogs on a laptop. The cpu and ccfl lcd screen consumes much more power.
