Is there a big diff. between a 5400 and a 7200 RPM HD? Like very very noticable difference? I just got a 60 gig 5400 retail WD for 49.99.. and was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade to the 7200 by paying some 80 dollars more.

yes there is a big difference.

Try using the "Search" feature. Each day there's a new thread about the difference between 5400 and 7200 rpm drives.

you're getting a hot deal, that's not the case.

if you buying at regular price - for about $20 difference, it's not wise to get 5400.
