depending on the artist many have higher res versions on their personal websites or Deviantart pages

that guy is old school. his fantasy stuff is insane and not digital too! damn, cant imagine doing all that in oil.
 
Wow, very nice, is it possible for me to make my own prints for my own personal use from a cafepress shop so I don't have to pay too much?

or is there a cheaper place on-line to make your own poster with someone else's artwork?

I'm pretty sure most in that gallery were Deviant Art users, and DA prints are actually fairly cheap, compared to what you'd pay for a piece if you bought it out of a gallery... and their canvas prints are really high quality...
 
Some are cool but the scifi/anime/video game/aliens/braveheart stuff gets pretty repetitive after a while. Some of the other artists who are actually trying to produce fine art have some really nice stuff, though.

I dunno. I guess I'm just bored of the whole elf-eared girl carrying a weapon and wearing skin-tight clothing type of stuff. It's video card boxart.
