Then what is your objective? To let everyone in a technical forum know the profit margins of Nvidia?
In other words, what is your goal here.
Operating margins of 15.2% and net margin of 13.1% are both below the industry averages 22.7% and 17.1%, respectively.
I think some people should decide if you are an employee/investor or a consumer because its VERY weird to see consumers cheering higher prices more profit!
Some will sell their own family and a little willy just to get green card. Even if AMD would pay them to use radeon GPU, they still go for nvidia.
Ohhh, and one more thing:
Nvidia cards expensive? AMD fault!
I never understood this company loyalty thing.
I get it now. Somewhere somebody taught you profit (success) is bad.
They were wrong.
I never understood this company loyalty thing.
Nvidias current range consists of a load of GPU's with only 2GB Vram and a Titan with 35% more performance than a 7970 for 3x the price.
To purchase any of those in the last quarter doesnt make any real sense. But it seems the consumers keep flooding in.
I think you understand it perfectly, actually.
Sure i dont want a company to make a loss but then again losses are good for consumers because it makes companies try harder and that means consumers win.
LOL, so it's 3GB VRAM or bust?
I'll let you know when I run into crippling VRAM problems..
Bigger numbers don't always mean better.
And if AMD goes bust because they keep losing money, is that a win for consumers?
Market decides with its wallet...

...bullshit
If im a consumer then profit is bad. Nvidia doesnt pay me dividends so why should i cheer higher profits?.
The 7990 is the fastest card and the 7970 owns the 680 GTX.
Im sure they are competitive.
I buy AMD because they are the fastest and cheapest GPU's and i dont want nvidia domination
To summarize, a company needs to work for nothing and their sole purpose is to use your money to create better and better products so they can make no money.
35% more performance - you have your reason why people buying Titan.
I think you don't understand this market: People want faster GPUs and not cheaper GPUs with free games which they cant even play with all effects because the GPUs are not fast enough.
No there is plenty of Titan stock. Prices are falling here due to poor sales.
