I've got an Epox 4BDA2+ motherboard, running a p4 1.6a@2.6 ghz, I'd like to use a p4 2.66 in it, I'm wondering if I can make this work? I know my motherboard can handle higher FSB speeds since I overclock the 1.6a to about 163 fsb, does anyone know if the motherboard can handle it? Thanks in advance

I tired it on two 4BDAs. It worked on both. On one, it was kind of goofy. It saw my 2.4B as a 2.4A...sort of. Its kind of hard to explain. If I overclocked it to 160 FSB, the Freq menu says Freq/CPU speed 160/3.84 GHz when it should be 160/2.88 GHz. It will boot up normally though as 2.88 GHz. I tried the same CPU in another 4BDA with the same BIOs, and it didn't do it. Board revision maybe? <shrug>

It will work fine though.
