52x LiteOn CDRW causes system to reboot after burning a cd...

I dont know why. At first, I thought it was my psu, but I got a 300w Lite On and it still happens..

You might have the box checked that says Shut PC down after finished.

Like he said.. or maybe you need to update the CD Writers Firmware with a bios flash.

I tried upgrading the firmware, but that diodnt help.

Where can I find that option? I couldnt find it.. I use nero express..

It's on the prompt when the burning is finished. Look around you should find it.

Hm.. I switched burners and it still resets. I tried diff programs as well.

Also, I forgot to mention that when I burn at a speed higher than 8x, it'll restart like halfway.

Do you have EZCD and Nero installed on your system at the same time?

1. Reinstall the software..if you have multiple burning software, keep only one in your system.

2. Download the latest ASPI drivers here

I have Nero and Clone CD.

I'll try that removing one..
