In my 5 years of college the only time they ever cancelled classes was when it got to -60 F two days in a row.

perhaps. However, I beleive that (-) should have a higher priority in the order of operations then TI gives it.

With a TI, there is no difference between 1-2^2 and 1 + -2^2. Both my HPs and my cheapy Sharp scientific do it differently.

WTF ~!! Well...I'd call you a wuss, but on the flipside I can't handle 90+ degrees Fahrenheit, so we're even.
Hmmm, I guess growing up in the midwest has its advantages. It isn't impossible to get over 100 F in the summer and below 0 F isn't that unheard of in the winter either. Granted, I'm not a fan of either but I can handle it if necessary (and this year it has been necessary). You can always tell the people that are from this area and those that are from the south wandering around campus. I wear a fairly light jacket and keep my hands in my pockets and I'm fine and some people wear around three coats and only have about 6 sq in of skin showing and they're still shivering. It's funny.

Wow, -52C is cold :) Last year we had -38C on the coldest day and my car still started without any trouble (used 10W40 mineral motor oli).
