Nice deal... Cruzer Titaniums are by far the best flash drives, imo. They come with full versions of the Cruzerlock and other Sandisk software too. Supposedly, they're practically indestructable.

I own one, but have two gripes....which is why I've just ordered a replacement

1. the slider-lock does get worn, so it becomes harder to insert into the USB slot

2. only 512mb....

and it's not fastest around....but that's not really a "gripe"

These drives are all faster, 2x capacity, and are easier to insert to USB port.

Lexar JumpDrive Lightning 1GB
Corsair Flash Voyager 1GB ($75)
Kingston Data Traveler Elite 1GB

Checkout www.everythingusb.com for other options.

or this LINK

granted I don't know about software features and these do cost more

cheers.

I had thought the Titanium was one of the faster ones around?
Thanks for the info; I'm really looking for a faster 1GB one anyway. I've got a 512MB Cruzer Mini & 512MB Cruzer Micro. The Mini is okay, the micro is dirt slow, and I wish both of them were 1GB :p

EDIT They do have a 1GB Titanium, but its like $110 :Q

I have a 512 Titanium and couldn't be happier. I'm pretty brutal on my keychain (where the Titanium lives) and it still works flawlessly. Transfer rates are excellent. I do wish it was 1GB and that it had a cap to prevent water getting in easily (althought otherwise it's pretty indestructible).

How did you get that ring onto your Titanium? I finally got it on, but it was bent to $hit. So I took it off and tossed it.

My 512MB Lexar Jumpdrive went through the washer and dryer a month ago and still runs like a champ. Oh yeah!!! But I would like a 1GB drive...

I love the transfer speeds on my 512mb Titanium, but has anyone noticed the drives being picky about the USB ports? I usually have to plug and unplug 2-3 times before my system at home and work recognize the drive.
