512MB of PC-133 or 256MB of pc-266 DDR

What do you think is better for video editing....512MB of pc-133 or 256mb ddr MT Crucial? What about overall performance.. under W2k?

Depends on what chipset you are using...
if it provide good bandwidth for the SDRAM, i'd say SDRAM

Clearly go for more memory. In real world apps I doubt you can feel the difference between DDR and SDR but you will clearly see the difference when your computer starts to chug because it has to use swap memory.
