I have an Alienware 17R4 on its way with 6700h CPU/1070 GPU. I got the model with only 128gb ssd/1tb hdd so I'm upgrading the m2 ssd. I've noticed the latest games are now over 50gb in size so my question is: in gaming would I be able to tell the difference between a super fast nvme ssd vs a Sata speed ssds in a gaming laptop? They both cost the same too...

May be the load time of the game will be faster, but once the game start, i seriously doubt you will see a difference. I personally would go for 1tb 850 who.
