You have to sign upt to use PrivacyGuard for $12.99 a month but can cancel free of charge before the first month is up, leaving you with a 512 drive for free.

I know someone's interested...

Offer Terms: Simple and Secure Enrollment with Continuous Protection and Easy Billing. Try PrivacyGuard® with the first month, Risk Free. You will then be eligible to claim your Cash Rebate. Unless you call toll free to cancel during your 1-month trial, the $12.99 PrivacyGuard membership fee, or then-current monthly fee, will be billed automatically each month to the credit or debit card you provide. You can call any time to cancel your benefits and you will not be billed for any additional months. No matter what you decide, the Cash Rebate is yours to keep. Offer valid from 3/10/2006 to 12/31/2006

IMHO Beware. Privacy Guard won't cancel your subscription without repeated calls and they continue billing your account regardless. Your luck may be better than mine, but I'd stay away.

I don't think I'll go for this one afterall...Not worth the trouble as said.

Ahh.. didn't see that. Just saw the deal and thought i'd let everyone know...😱

Perhaps I can do a chargeback? Hmmm...I already ordered it but thinking of cancelling my order right now.

Not Hot, IMO. I would pay the $15-$30 instead of dealing with a crappy subscription service. Heck, dealing with rebate would be easier.

But, if you are unemployed with nothing better to do....

Does retired count? I've done the "Sign-up for a month to get a free thing" many times and all have gone well, no recurring fees. I have this thread bookmarked and will let you know how it turns out.
